Hello, I am Katie, I am a fully qualified nail technician qualifying in November 2008.
I started attending craft fairs 7 years ago with 1 small cardboard box full of cardmaking and scrapbooking supplies, over the next few years my hobby grew in leaps and bounds, I soon had 4 very large suitcases full of supplies, I was then attending a fair almost every weekend from March through to mid December. I attended some of the largest fairs in Norfolk and Suffolk having a stand that was an average size of 18ft with the largest being 30ft at Mildenhall Bazaar.
I started arranging my own fairs in 2009 organising 5 very successful fairs in Wymondham, Norfolk, in aid of Breast Cancer Care this is an ever growing fair with over 30 different stands.
For 2010 this grew to 16 events in a 9 month period, Whilst also organising the largest Craft and Beauty Fair in Norfolk and Suffolk.
In 2011 I became an official fundraiser for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. The fairs this year have grown to 21 Craft Fairs covering: Wymondham, Norwich, Diss and Middleton (Kings Lynn). These are all fairly small fairs holding on average 25 craft stands, but they are all reasonably priced, acting as a shop window for crafters to sell their wonderful handcrafted items.
For 2012 I now have 21 fairs combining Craft Fairs, as well as Jewellery and Bead fairs. I am also organising a Charity Mini Ball. The cover Norwich, and Wymondham.
I am enjoying arranging these events and hope this list is ever growing. I have arranged other types of events in the past, Which was a great pleasure.
I do sell handmade cards and a few other little handmade bits at the fairs, I also do Nail work at events if pre booked. Silk and Fibreglass nail extensions that are booked to be done at an event will cost only £15, these can have a gel overlay for an extra £2 and you can choose a different colour tip (Instead of white of natural).
